Transport and Telecom
Society relies upon a constant flow of goods, services, people and information. Current trends indicate a continuation of the demands for resilience in these sectors.
Citybanan 4C Strategies has planned and conducted a crisis simulation exercise for the management group of the Swedish Transport Administration’s Citybanan project (a 6 km railroad tunnel under Stockholm), one of the largest infrastructure projects in Sweden. Together with a number of contractors and Stockholm’s Fire Department, the management team was trained during one day in how to handle a crisis during the construction phase of Citybanan. The participants gained valuable experience from how a crisis may develop and what is needed to successfully control it. The lessons learned have now been incorporated into the project’s crisis plan.

Finance
The banking and finance sector is vital to our society. Critical business processes must be protected against various types of threat and risk.
Sparbanken
4C Strategies conducted a simulation exercise for the management team of Sparbanken Syd in February 2010. A simulation exercise involves the creation of a situation and scenario as similar as possible to real life, i.e. a "full rehearsal". The exercise was designed to stress test the crisis management team, the existing plans and routines. In addition, the organization gained valuable insights and knowledge of external and internal information and communication.

Energy and Industry
Safety, accessibility and crisis readiness standards in both the energy and manufacturing sectors are high, given the fact that their processes are highly sensitive and require careful supervision.
Vattenfall 4C Strategies developed and implemented a strategy for training, continuous improvement and revision of Vattenfall's incident- and crisis management capabilities. One central part of the project was the development of a capability assessment tool for incident and crisis management (model/method and solution for large scale deployment and use). This assessment tool, and all other required components such as education and exercise material, manuals etc., were then assembled and made available to the entire Vattenfall organisation through an all encompassing Internet portal.

Defence
We take responsibility for implementing and leading exercises for rapid response forces and national units.
British Army 4C Strategies are helping professional organizations managing the entire exercise continuum by offering solutions ranging from services to software applications. We are experts at customizing systems to facilitate exercise and training activities and have been cooperating with the British Army since 2007. Our exercise management tool Exonaut is now an integrated part of the information infrastructure within the Armed Forces. 4C Strategies also supports British Army with both exercise knowledge in order to provide better staff exercises as well as to analyze training progression against defined metrics and confirm if objectives are met to identify unit trends, weaknesses and risks before deployment to an operational theatre.
